Everything published on KarsHub (vehicles, videos and episodes) is reviewed by our team before anyone can see it.
What can be published
- Real vehicles you have for sale, with your own videos, recorded by you or your team.
- Educational or informative episodes about vehicles: maintenance, buying, paperwork, reviews, trips.
What can't be published
- Other people's videos or music without permission (copyright). If it isn't yours, don't upload it.
- Sexual, vulgar, violent or discriminatory content, or anything that puts someone in danger.
- Vehicles that don't exist, misleading prices, false information or photos taken from other listings.
- Spam, duplicate listings or content that has nothing to do with vehicles.
How we look after it
Every account that publishes is approved first. Every video is uploaded unpublished until it's approved; we detect repeated or copied videos and offensive language, and anyone can report a post. Three serious rejections suspend the account.
How to buy safely
Almost every vehicle scam starts the same way: someone asks you for money before you've seen the car and its papers. These five rules protect you.
- Never pay or deposit outside KarsHub. Not an advance «to hold it», and not into an account someone gives you in the chat, on WhatsApp or by phone. Don't share your bank details or the codes you get by SMS either.
- Check the vehicle and its papers. The plate and the chassis number (VIN) on the vehicle must match the registration (matrícula), and the registration must be in the seller's name. If the vehicle is financed (it has a lien), ask for the bank's payoff letter (carta de saldo).
- Meet in a safe, public place. In daylight, somewhere busy and, better still, with someone. Don't go to isolated addresses or carry cash.
- Use KarsHub transfer. We check both parties' papers, consult the DGII (the tax office), arrange the signing before a notary and deliver the new registration in your name.
- Report anything suspicious in the app. On the vehicle or on the seller's profile, tap «…» → Report → «Fraud or false information». Our team reviews it.
If the chat shows the warning «Watch out for requests to pay outside KarsHub» or «Por tu seguridad…», stop: the other person is asking you for a payment or bank details outside KarsHub. Questions? Write to soporte@karshub.com.
Music
Videos can't have other people's background music (radio, Spotify, well-known songs), even if it's playing quietly. If you want music, add it from the KarsHub library in the editor: those tracks are licensed for your videos.
Copyright claims
If something on KarsHub uses your material without permission, write to soporte@karshub.com with the link to the post, your name and proof that the material is yours. We take it down while we review it.
These rules are part of the Terms and conditions. This is a translation: if the English and Spanish versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.
