How much does the title transfer cost?
With the official fees in force. In the app we calculate the tax with your vehicle's DGII value.
Documents
What you need
The app asks only for the documents your case needs and tells you if something needs fixing.
Buyer
ID card (cédula), front and back. For foreigners, their passport.
Seller
ID card (cédula), front and back, or passport, and the original registration (matrícula), front and back.
Only if it applies
- A loan or a bank lien: the payoff letter (carta de saldo) or the lien release.
- A company: RNC, commercial registry, the representative's minutes and an invoice with NCF.
- Someone signs for someone else: a notarized power of attorney.
- The seller isn't the owner on the registration: the contract from the previous purchase.
Transfer your title from the app
From the vehicle's listing or from Profile → Transfers. You invite the other party with a link and we follow every step with you.
